COMMUNITY PROGRAMS:

CANTON JUNETEENTH

The Pine Grove Association has hosted the Canton Juneteenth Celebration for the past seven years. This effort has included hosting the annual Juneteenth Festival, Youth and Adult Forums, and assisting with Voter Engagement activities.

EXPUNGEMENT CLINICS

Many citizens need help getting their criminal records expunged. The Association hosts free clinics annually to assist residents with this process.

RELIEF EFFORTS

Meeting needs in the community is at the core of what the Pine Grove Association is all about. These efforts include working families and others who may experience hardships.

I had the opportunity to give back to the community by passing out voter ads and encouraging both young and old to vote. This experience was my first, however, it opened my eyes to the needs of the community. I was excited and nervous but to know that my ancestors fought for the chance I will soon have, made that experience even more enjoyable and I look forward to being more active in the future.
